I had a wonderful stay at a peaceful villa nestled in nature. The location was quiet and serene, despite being just a short drive from Pico airport. The owners were incredibly accommodating and even prepared a delicious dinner for us when the restaurant was closed. The breakfast served each morning was fresh and delightful, with local cheese and fruits. The room provided all the necessary amenities, including coffee, tea, and a microwave. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and I appreciated having the option to park my car on the property. I highly recommend O Farrobo Villa for a tranquil and enjoyable stay.

The trails were breathtaking, especially the one leading up to the volcano. We enjoyed exploring the lush landscapes and taking in the stunning views. The hosts at O Farrobo were incredibly helpful, providing us with maps and recommendations for the best routes. It was a fantastic way to bond as a family and create unforgettable memories.
My children wanted a playground or some outdoor activities for kids.

The value for money at this place was excellent, and the room itself was clean and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful, with charming unpaved roads leading to nearby villages. The staff, especially Andrea, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with all our transportation and activity reservations.
One small suggestion to make the breakfast even better would be to add a hairdryer to the room amenities.

Impeccably kept, spacious rooms with a private terrace that offers a cleverly designed, secluded atmosphere. The delicious breakfast, including refreshing fresh orange juice, was the best we had during our three weeks in the Azores. The owners were extremely helpful and their on-site restaurant is a must-visit, serving glorious wreckfish and divine beef steaks. The location is convenient, being near the airport and a short drive from Madalena. The homy atmosphere, surrounded by woods and with the added comfort of air conditioning, made for a relaxing stay. The hosts were friendly and always available to assist, making it a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. With minimal light pollution, the night sky is jaw-dropping. a super and mind-blowing experience with excellent dishes and genuine food.

I absolutely loved the delicious Portuguese cuisine served at the restaurant. The continental breakfast was a delightful start to my day, and the nearby hiking trails were a great way to explore the beautiful surroundings. The free wifi was a bonus too!
Oh, yes, definitely missed having access to a teleportation device. Would have been so much easier than having to rely on a car to explore the off-season surroundings.
